Today’s God in 60 Seconds is brought to you by the letter S. Come on, admit it, who doesn’t love Sesame Street? Grover, Ernie and Big Bird are great.

Sesame Street is a show that cares for the most vulnerable people in society, children. Who would have thought it would go on to become one of the most influential shows in history.

Yet, reaching out to children and capturing their attention was not new with the creators of Sesame Street and The Muppets. Throughout the biographies of Jesus, people can see that he had a special place for children.

In Matthew 19 he said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”.

In these words we can see that Jesus had a special place for us and especially for children. Leading to even sunnier days than on Sesame Street.
