Listen: Micaela Schmidt shares her story with Ben McEachen on Hope Mornings

One of the most interesting, honest and provocative conversations I have had recently was with Micaela Schmidt.

Micaela is an aspiring performer and storyteller. She also was born blind and is a Christian living in Wodonga, on the border of Victoria and New South Wales.

As a side hustle that she is evidently invested in, Micaela also advises local art and creative organisations about how to better include people living with a disability.

Micaela shared about being a lover of storytelling and making entertainment accessible. She has had some challenging revelations about how far we still have to go with making art and culture available to all.
