Not surprisingly, Easter will be a time of heartache for the people in Ukraine, who are facing war instead of focusing on celebrating new life with their church communities. Equally, across the border, Russian counterparts are also sharing in that same “heartache and depression”.

Kevin Keagan, CEO of FEBC, shared on Hope 103.2 how their teams in Ukraine and Russia were dealing with very different daily circumstances but both held an eternal hope for the future.

Listen: FEBC CEO Kevin Keagan said their teams on the ground in Ukraine and Russia both needed our prayers

Kevin also talked about the power of prayer and how our prayers are making a difference across the ocean.

He encouraged us, as we head into this Easter season, to reflect upon the sacrifice of Jesus, pray alongside our brothers and sisters around the world, and be reminded that through all the turmoil there is hope, and Jesus is with them through it all.
