Another week, another cool buzz word for our work-life balance.

The latest is “quiet quitting“, a term erupting around the world since a TikTok user recently deployed it about his own approach to work.

So, what is quiet quitting? Are you doing it right not? Should you be? Is it as lazy as it sounds? Does it have some positive benefits if done correctly?

Valerie Ling is a Sydney psychologist, expert in burnout, and founder of Centre for Effective Living. Quiet quitting has links with burnout, stress and overwork, so Valerie told Hope Mornings about what this new condition is – and how helpful it can be.
