The Reason for God, Common Ground, Every Good Endeavour – these and more are all titles by legendary Christian apologist Timothy Keller. Millions have read his words and listened to the sermons of a man who has an unrelenting passion to explore the depths of theology and translate what he finds into practical concepts for the everyman.
Journalist and former editor of Christianity Today Collin Hansen realised that while many have been influenced by Timothy Keller, they didn’t have an understanding of who influenced him and how he developed the qualities they admire today.
Culminating in his book Timothy Keller: His Spiritual and Intellectual Formation, Collin spoke with family and friends and had the most extensive access to Timothy’s personal notes and sermons to reveal what shaped a man who many revere.
“Unlike a traditional biography, this book tells Keller’s story from the perspective of his influences, more than his influence,” Collin said.
“Unlike a traditional biography, this book tells Keller’s story from the perspective of his influences, more than his influence,” – Collin Hansen
“A child of the 1960s, student in the 1970s, church planter in the 1980s and leader of one of New York’s largest churches on September 11, 2001, Timothy Keller’s life spans many of the last century’s most tumultuous events.”
Collin joined Laura on the UNDISTRACTED podcast to look at Timothy’s life through the lens of lifelong learning, curiosity and becoming better thinkers.
