Mum, Is God Coming To Dinner? invites the reader to slow down and think about the gift that it is to enjoy not only our family’s company, but also – have we set a place for God?

My daughters were very quick to chime in with “but mum, God is ALWAYS with us, we don’t need to invite Him!” (there may have even been a sigh!) so I rephrased it:

Have we set a place at the table for God?

If I put on my walking shoes, got the dog on his leash and walked out the front door without inviting you, how would you feel?

A pause…

‘I’d feel a bit sad and lonely’ (My 7 year old)
