Give Your Worries to Jesus this Easter and Accept His Promise Available to All

The sort of hope that you don’t really know if it actually has any prospect of really coming through or working out.

We just, well, hope that it, you know, does.

But Sydney Catholic Archbishop Anthony Fisher told Hope Mornings that what Jesus achieved through his death and resurrection is eternal hope to bank on.

A resurrection life with Jesus that isn’t just words or empty speculation. It’s guaranteed, because Jesus led the way out of the grave on Easter Sunday and into the assurance of eternal life for all who believe in him.

“People go looking for hope in all sorts of places but, in the end, they are not satisfied,” Fisher said.

“There are all sorts of ways people try to find a way of out of their despair. Usually, though, those ones leave them more despairing. Temporary relief – but it doesn’t last.

“Whereas once you have met Jesus Christ – the only one of us to have risen from the dead, but who comes with a promise that it is there for us all – and the love of God that he represents… then all these other worries become rather trivial.
