God has a plan for you. So,even in the middle of all your heartbreak, tell God,”I’m going to hold on and wait for you to show me your kindness, your love,no matter what happens.”David said in Psalm 27:14,”Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”. You will come out of all the pain and be a much stronger person. You will say what Job said right after he voiced his doubts: “But [God] knows the way that I take; when he has tested me,I will come forth as gold” (Job 23:10).

Sometimes our  own sense of guilt prevents us from believing God loves me.
Charlie Brown approached Lucy to ask her why she dropped another ball. Lucy explained that when she saw the ball coming toward her,she couldn’t help but think of all the balls she had dropped in the past. She said the past, got in her eyes. Does your past keep getting in the way of personal forward momentum? Are you unable to break free from the guilt of mistakes or lifestyle choices? Is your past holding you in bondage?

It’s important to realise that one  we accept God’s love is personal,we can be completely free to be ourselves…
Margery Williams’ children’s story,The Velveteen Rabbit is a beautiful story read by many children throughout the world. It tells the story of a stuffed rabbit and his quest to become real through the love of his owner. “What is REAL?” asked the Rabbit one day…”Does it mean having things that buzz inside you and a stick-out handle?” “Real isn’t how you are made,” said the Skin Horse. “It’s a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real…Generally,by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off,and your eyes drop out and you get loose in your joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand…Once you are Real you can’t become unreal again. It lasts for always.” Rejoicing in God’s love means we can be real people, because we have made our peace with Him. And despite what might happen, everything will turn out for the best eventually.

I said yesterday that a sense of guilt can stop us from believing that God loves us. Job is a striking example form the OT of a good man who felt he had failed. He lost everything of value in his own life, and said to God “I heard about You from others; now I have seen You with my own eyes. That’s why I hate myself and sit here in dust and ashes to show my sorrow” (Job 42:5-6). Have you ever felt like that? I came across a Facebook page called “God will always love me even when I can’t love myself”. The wonderful truth is that God’s love is unconditional .
