This week, the CMAA Excellence in Media Awards finalists were announced – and we’re feeling pretty chuffed!
Key Points:
- #FollowingtheChosen is a finalist in ‘Compelling Content – Digital Media’ and ‘Compelling Content – Podcast’ categories.
- Our Anglicare Foster Care ad campaign is a finalist in the ‘Most Creative / Innovative Sales Campaign’ category.
- Hope Breakfast with Brendan & Danniebelle is a finalist in the ‘Emerging Talent’ category.
A number of our team have been announced as Finalists in the CMAA Excellence in Media Awards, to be presented in September.
#FollowingtheChosen is a finalist in two categories: Compelling Content – Digital Media for their Digital Media Coverage of ‘The Chosen: Season 4’ as well as Compelling Content – Podcast. A huge congratulations to Laura Bennett, Ben McEachen, Derrick Yeoh and Christian Valenzuela.
“Stoked to be recognised by the sector,” Media Producer Derrick Yeoh said.
“We put our heart and soul into the creation of these but above all, we have heaps of fun creating them!”
On receiving the news #FollowingtheChosen co-host Ben McEachen shared, “Hope’s content about The Chosen, including our #FollowingtheChosen podcast, are attempts at being part of the global conversation generated by this groundbreaking TV series.”
“We love that a show can inspire so much attention upon Jesus, let alone invite us all to more deeply consider our faith in him.
“Such an aim is shared by the Hope Team. We love the opportunity to engage with anyone online about the influence of Jesus, from our small screens to our very soul.”
#FollowingtheChosen is a finalist in ‘Compelling Content – Digital Media’ and ‘Compelling Content – Podcast’ categories.
Our Anglicare Foster Care ad campaign is a finalist in the Most Creative / Innovative Sales Campaign category. We are so very proud of all the hard work that Account Manager Gayle Hardiman puts into all her campaigns.
“I was very excited [about this campaign being named as a finalist] because of the nature of the campaign,” Gayle said.
Our Anglicare Foster Care ad campaign is a finalist in the ‘Most Creative / Innovative Sales Campaign’ category.
“Anglicare were looking for an accredited foster care couple to care for twin two-year-old boys with high special needs and God orchestrated the couple.
“It was beautiful! So, from that aspect I found the nomination worthwhile because it was about caring, not money.”
Hope Breakfast with Brendan & Danniebelle is a finalist in the ‘Emerging Talent’ category.
After only six-months working together, our very own Hope Breakfast with Brendan & Danniebelle is a finalist in the Emerging Talent category. Don’t tell anyone, but Danniebelle may have cried when she found out! Well done Brendan, Danniebelle and Shammah!
“For once Breakfast is lost for words. Incredibly humbled to be nominated but to be a finalist has flawed us. Grateful is an understatement!”, Brendan and Danniebelle shared.
We’d like to extend out congratulations to all the CMAA Excellence in Media Awards finalists, all of an exceptional calibre, and we are blessed to have such amazing talent in the Australian Christian media sector.
The awards will be presented at the CONNECT24 Conference in September, so watch this space!
