Hope 103.2 is teaming up with Hillsong for their annual Christmas charity appeal, Stuff the Bus, to help families and individuals in the local community who are struggling with financial and emotional hardship at Christmas time.
The Hope team will broadcast live from Westpoint Blacktown on Friday, December 8, on the rooftop near Panarotti’s, from 9am to 2pm to support the campaign. We’ll be encouraging listeners and shoppers to bring new and unwrapped toys, gifts and food items along to donate, while saying hi to the Hope 103.2 family.
The idea of Stuff the Bus is for people to donate goods that will go into hampers, which will then be ‘stuffed’ into a bus and delivered to families in need. If you can’t make it on the day, check out other ways you can support Stuff the Bus online.
The event helps around 8,000 families each year across Sydney, including the elderly, newly arrived asylum seekers, refugees, families supported by Hillsong Street Teams, families with a parent in prison, people who are homeless or in detention centres. Volunteers also visit local hospitals and hospices.
Come to Westpoint on Friday and say hi!
