The atmosphere was electric in the Hope 103.2 studios on Friday night 20 November 2015, when you fully funded Hopeathon 2015.

It was around 7.10pm when the final donations rolled into the Tally Room by web and phone, bringing us to 100% of the Hope-A-Thon funding goal, which was a combination of $495,000 in single gifts and just over 350 new monthly Partners for Hope.

The brilliant result of this year’s Hopeathon means Hope 103.2 can continue to reach out across Sydney with its positive, uplifting radio and media, centred on a message of life, love and hope.

“We just want to keep saying thankyou!” ~ Hope 103.2 CEO, Phllip Randall

In wrapping up the appeal, CEO Phillip Randall thanked the volunteers and many donors who gave their support.

“We just want to keep saying thankyou,” he said. “We would not have got here if it hadn’t been for thousands of people contributing.

“I think it was Tim who gave three dollars of his pocket money. So thankyou to everyone, from Tim with his three dollars – and there were a number of kids who did that – through to people saying “here’s 10 thousand dollars as a match” – and those who gave gifts of all different sizes, to ensure that Hope was fully funded.”
