Every day, possibly in your community, women and children are experiencing homelessness.
To serve such a need, a new shelter is being set up in Camden in Sydney’s south west called Blue Wren House.
Scott Taylor is chair of the Blue Wren House board. He told Hope Mornings that, every week, one agency in Camden can refer more than 100 women and children to seek emergency accommodation, due to family and domestic violence (or other issues contributing to homelessness).
The need for Blue Wren House is urgent and important, Scott said.
