South Africa is one of the most affluent nations in the African continent. Yet with an unemployment rate of 50 percent, young people in that nation are facing many troubling issues right now – drugs, alcoholism, gang violence, the rapid spread of HIV, and a feeling of hopelessness.

One organisation working hard to turn things around for that generation of youth, is Foxfire Teams, the youth arm of African Enterprise. Their director is a man with an amazing story of life-change. His name is Valdino Naidoo and he spoke with Sheridan Voysey.
