In March 1995, Aussie couple Mark and Cathy Delaney embarked on a sea change like no other. They packed their bags for India, to settle in the slums of New Delhi.

If you’ve seen the film Slumdog Millionaire, you’ll have some idea of the kind of environment they live in. Thirteen years later, compelled by a great love for their 100,000 neighbours, the couple and their two sons still have their roots firmly planted in Indian soil.
