Jody Allen was made redundant in 2009 while on maternity leave and pregnant with her second child. She started the Stay at Home Mum website to share her money-saving hacks while her family lived on one wage. It has since become Australia’s biggest mothers’ network.

The community of mums that rallied, sharing their tips with one another became a source of encouragement for Jody, that she wanted the website to be a free resource for mums right across the world.

With all she learned over the past decade, Jody has written a book, Earn at Home Mum, to help women who want to start their own business or bring in a little extra income on the side.

It’s a handbook of practical advice for mums who don’t have a business background. It’s for people who have no idea where to start.
