The number of children in NSW being educated by their parents is on the rise, with 5429 students taught at home last year, according to new data published by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Michelle Morrow is a veteran homeschool mum of 18 years. She blogs about homeschooling in Australia and helps Australian homeschoolers get started with homeschooling.
Sam & Duncan asked Michelle about the reasons why parents choose to homeschool their children, what some of the challenges are, and whether there is homework after class.
