As hundreds of thousands of Rohingya people flee Myanmar, Amnesty International has documented what appears to be the targeted use of landmines against the refugees.

The Myanmar military have burnt many villages to the ground and there are allegations many men women and children have died.

Amnesty International say Myanmar’s security forces planted antipersonnel landmines along its border with Bangladesh to deliberately target people fleeing into Bangladesh.

Open House spoke with Michael Hayworth, a campaign Manager in Australia for Amnesty international.
