Thousands of NSW residents are again experiencing the devastation of the recent flooding, and while the rains might be easing, the clean up is only just beginning.
One of the organisations on the ground to help with the recovery is Convoy of Hope Australia. With disaster response teams now on the ground in the Sydney flood affected areas, they are working alongside local churches to meet the needs of the local communities.
Joel A’Bell from ‘Convoy of Hope’ joins Hope Brekky duo Ally & Brendan to talk about the reality of the situation and how local churches can get involved in the clean up. The need is great, but with boots on ground, Convoy of Hope are able to be the hands and feet of Jesus bringing hope and restoration to these devastated communities.
“Every act of kindness matters. The needs in the world seem endless until you factor in the people who care. Find what works for you and jump in.” – Convoy of Hope
