Nick Pearce was just 21 years old when he launched his business, a streetwear label called Homie Clothing.
Two years in, his entrepreneurial efforts made him the Young Achiever of the Year for Leadership. Homie is now entering its fourth year and is making an extraordinary effort to combat homelessness in Melbourne. Once every few weeks, Homie shuts down its stores to the public and opens up to a local homeless charity – providing a free VIP shopping experience to those experiencing homelessness.
Sam and Duncan had a chat with Nick about how Homie is helping to change peoples’ perspectives on homelessness in Melbourne.
