The human brain is frighteningly extraordinary. So powerful, and yet so fragile. What would you do if yours suffered injury and you had to fight to get back full function?

Open House: Dr Christine Durham 'Unlocking My Brain'

Dr Christine Durham’s life was turned upside-down after she sustained a serious brain injury in a horrific car accident. This educator, disability advocate and author of “Unlocking My Brain: through the labyrinth of Acquired Brain Injury”, shared her incredible story of survival and learning to live with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) on Open House.

With a passion for teaching and an unrelenting desire to get back into it, Dr Durham was inspired to pioneer new approaches to treating those with ABI. “Unlocking My Brain” and two previous books, “Chasing Ideas” and “Doing Up Buttons”, have led her to become internationally renowned in the field.
