For many of us, food security is something we take for granted. But Schofields mum Melanie Tan knows that is not the case for everyone.

Two months ago, Melanie and her 7-year-old daughter put a shelf in her front yard, filled with food. Since then, the pantry has since taken on a life of its own – providing food, care packages and free pizza to people in need.
