Beat the Blue is an opportunity for members of the public to test their driving ability against some of the best NSW Police Force drivers.
Detective Superintendent Donna McCarthy joined Hope Breakfast’s Ally & Brendan to talk about how their unique Beat the Blue event helps raise funds for NSW Police Legacy, and means you can have a friendly rivalry with our law enforcement – without getting booked for speeding.
After a few years in hiatuses, our main event is back! – Beat the Blue
The driving obstacle course will be on a wet skid pan at Sydney Motorsport Park in order to replicate the worst a driver could face on a roadway. The first to finish the course will be crowned the Beat the Blue winner. The original event in 2019 saw the Police take out 77 of 99 events.
NSW Police Legacy is “a strong and compassionate charity committed to supporting past and present police and their families in times of tragedy and need”.
