Listen: Hope Breakfast listeners sharing that they're in lockdown without actually saying "we're in lockdown"
If we think back to the beginning of June – which definitely feels like about a year ago now? – it’s safe to say we did not expect we would be in the middle of week 10 of another lockdown. And, yet, here we are.
The numbers have been hard to stomach some days and social media comments have been even harder to handle when you’re already feeling down and trapped. But, this morning, Hope Breakfast asked you to tell them you’re in lockdown without actually stating you’re in lockdown – and your responses lightened the lockdown mood for a moment.
Hang in there, Hopeland! We hope you get a smile out of some of these, too.
“I only go out of the house to walk the dogs – FIVE times a day…” – Paula

There are plenty of more creative answers if you want to read the rest. And, we would love you to share your answer with the Hopeland Facebook community so we can continue to try and lift each other’s spirits until we are all released from our 5kms.
