Old railway lines throughout NSW are being converted into bike riding and walking tracks for local communities and tourists to enjoy.

Rail Trails are popping up across the State and helping encourage visitors to explore local communities throughout regional NSW.

Hope Nights host Graeme Burrill caught up with John O’Brien, the NSW Representative from Rail Trails Australia, to find out more about re-using old rail lines for bike riding and walking.

“They’re usually accessible for people in wheelchairs as well,” John said.
