A Harvard professor has been looking inside our heads. While we sleep. During the coronavirus pandemic.
Deidre Barrett is an assistant professor of psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
During the pandemic, Deidre conducted an online survey – of our dreams. She is interested in what our night-time adventures reveal about us and what’s happening to us.
Reverend Dr Tania Harris is also very interested in the stuff of dreams. Recently, Tania combined the findings of research like the Harvard study, with her own experiences of pandemic dreaming.
But for Tania, she wanted to go deeper into her dream world. To see if she could find God’s voice within her sleeping visions.
Tania is a pastor, speaker, author and founding director of God Conversations, a global ministry that equips people to recognise and respond to God’s voice.
She is also a regular voice on Hope. Tania joined Hope Afternoons to chat about what the pandemic has done to our dreams, how she went looking for God in her own dreams, and what we can do to work out if it is God speaking to us while we sleep.
Tania has developed an online God Dreams course here. Listen to her full interview in the player above.
