Listen: CEO Leisa Sadler talks about the work of Dress for Success
What better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than by highlighting women doing amazing things for other women and Dress for Success Sydney fits that bill perfectly.
Helping women enter the workforce, Dress for Success Sydney CEO Leisa Sadler spoke to Hope 103.2 about the vital work of the charity, especially at a time such as this – at the tail end of a global pandemic.
Dress for Success is a grassroots organisation that helps women from all walks of life break into the job market through styling, interview tips, resume reviews and personalised coaching. And, their work is more important than ever right now due to a disproportionate amount of Australian women losing their jobs during the 2020 COVID-19 crisis, and with a large number of women employed in casual jobs.
Entirely funded by donations, Dress for Success is urging people to participate in Empower Hour this International Women’s Day by donating one hour of pay towards the work of the organisation to ensure their work can continue.
