As part of our Journey to Christmas series, Pastor Kirsty Labuschagne from Sydney Life Church in Neutral Bay encourages us to take our eyes off the noise and tension of the season.

For those struggling with loneliness or family stress at this time of year, we’re encouraged to focus on Jesus at the centre of the nativity scene.

We are reminded that His birth was a supernatural, miraculous event – “a massive collision of heaven and earth, of God’s love coming to us.” And that no matter our circumstances, Jesus can step in and bring hope: “He brings light to dark places, even to the darkest parts of our hearts.”
