JI Packer once said that in our society dying has become the sex of the 19th century – it’s the great unmentionable.

According to author Rob Moll, for Christians in most times and places, death has been a routine part of life.  But during the last century, we have moved into denial and completely removed death from our homes and our daily lives.

In his book, The Art of Dying, Rob Moll argues that we need reacquaint ourselves with death, prepare for it and make space in our lives for the sad, exhausting work of mourning.
