Dr Larry Crabb is a highly respected Christian psychologist, and a prolific author. He’s written many influential books on things like Biblical counselling, relationships, prayer, and Christian community.
So it’s a little unsettling when he writes, “I don’t much like going to church”! This confession is found in the introduction to his recent book, Real Church.
Almost like a tell-all journal, the book takes a confronting look at what’s missing in many churches today, and what Dr Crabb believes a real, authentic community of Jesus-followers should look like. Larry Crabb talks to Sheridan Voysey about what the real church should look like.
