Don Axcell, a former police sergeant and head of the Christian Police Association in the UK, says that people often forget about the vulnerable, human face of the police force.
His mission is to get churches and Christians more aware of their local police, and to support them through prayer, and practical help.
He says initiatives like this are making a big difference across the UK – Even reducing crime.
