Tough, stressful things.
As she openly shared on Money: Faith and Finance, the friendly and upfront Hope Breakfast presenter had been made redundant at the start of 2023.
Job loss hurts. A lot.
But beyond the battle to find more work – sending out hundreds of applications; few replies – Danniebelle also had mortgage responsibilities for her family.

“It’s easy to slip into the depths of the depression of it,” Danniebelle told podcast co-hosts Pete Burrows and Ben McEachen.

Speaking with Ben and Pete about her journey with God and money prompted the Hope Breakfast co-host to reflect on her Heavenly Father’s provision.
Wise counsel, a network of support and bringing her anger to God helped Danniebelle to realise the truth of 1 Corinthians 10:13:
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. (NIV)
Danniebelle discovered, “He’ll always be there to help you come through it.”
