Since her first album How Can it Be came out in 2014, Lauren Daigle has become a defining voice in the industry, recognised for her effervescence and musical soul.
Earning multiple Grammy’s, Billboard Music Awards and America Music Award’s, there are few arenas Lauren’s music hasn’t reached and with her new self-titled third album the experience shows.
“When I first started in the music industry with my first album, I remember dealing with the challenges of being so green,” Lauren told Hope 103.2.
“I was such a newbie, there was so much that I had to learn, especially when it came to communicating my ideas.
“The further I got into [this industry] my artistry has taken on a lot what I’ve learned and I’m now able to go into a studio and have confidence to say, ‘this is what I’m thinking for this song’.”
Lauren’s lyrics have always been underpinned by her faith, but increasingly audiences of all descriptions are leaning into to her songs and finding a message everyone can relate to.

“One of the things I get really excited about is hope,” Lauren said.
“People need hope: every person, every background, every people group.
“Hope is something that fuels the human soul, and that for me is a conversation that I love diving into.
“Hope is one of those things that the more you talk about it, the more joy it gives you.
“There’s this beautiful cycle that happens whenever you focus on the good – whatever is pure, whatever is lovely – whenever you focus on those things you do find yourself being filled with joy.
“And that’s the joy that will change the world.”
Lauren Daigle, The Complete {Self-Titled} Album, is available now. She is currently on tour in America and told our Brisbane-partner station that Australians may get to hear the new album in person soon – anticipating an Australia tour.
