Two weeks out from For King & Country’s historic Sydney Opera House shows, the Aussie-born, world-touring duo have made a generous offer to help fans get more of their friends and family to the gig.
For a limited time, with every three tickets you purchase to the 3:30pm matinee, you’ll get one extra for free. The family-friendly offer is now available through the Opera House website. Select the seats you want, and the discount offer will appear in the checkout process—but get onto it soon, as seats are limited.
Luke Smallbone, one half of the duo and younger brother of Joel, recently chatted to Laura Bennett about the new album Burn the Ships, which will feature highly in the Australia shows.
He says the album is their most mature so far, with deeply personal and honest songs exploring faith, love and life’s deeper struggles.
The show will be anything but sombre, though – a live For King & Country gig is more akin to an explosion of sound, light, colour and energy. The boys wear their hearts on their sleeves. Crowds can expect some of their anthemic hits like Joy, Shoulders, Burn the Ships, Fix My Eyes, and It’s Not Over Yet.
The For King & Country Australia tour will take in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, the Gold Coast and Newcastle, before the guys head to Singapore and Manila then back to the USA for months of touring there.
