“You could feel the relationship she had with Jesus.”

“Visually it was stunning.”

“It gave me a different sense of how much it took women of faith to break away from a family and follow Jesus and leave everything.”

“I thought that it was a very gentle movie and depicted Jesus in a completely different light I’ve never seen him in.”

“I love that it’s a topic that’s now raising discussion.”

“It was a beautiful, authentic movie. I loved Mary, I loved Jesus, I loved the disciples, I loved the scenery, I think it was shot beautifully, I think the actors were great. I didn’t need anything more. It opened up the story of the gospels but wasn’t too prescriptive.”

“It really made me think about women in the Bible and as disciples of Jesus.”

“I loved that we got to see her as a disciple with the men, and more about her character and compassionate side.”

“It really challenged me to think how compassionate am I going to be to others.”

“I think the plot was ingeniously created. It was brilliant in getting the message across consistently.”
