“I love Silent Night because it’s a song of peace and peace is so important at Christmas time and all through the year. I just love to sing peace over people,” Tarryn Stokes told Hope Breakfast, of her new single which is available from today.
As the Winner of The Voice 2023, Tarryn Stokes captured the nation’s hearts with her powerhouse voice and moving rendition of Celine Dion’s All By Myself.
Ally and Brendan had a ball with Tarryn Stokes in the studio.
Tarryn is in Sydney in the leadup to her Woolworths Carols in the Domain performance. “It’s a bit of a jazzy song… but it’s top secret,” she says of the song she’ll be performing with Melbourne Gospel Choir.
Tarryn says she’s been having a lot of fun working with her creative team, planning and creating music since her October win. But when asked about how she’s handling her newfound fame, the Melbourne based mother of two said she’s “just trying to keep it pretty casual and not change,” and explains that now that she’s a little older and wiser, she’s realised that fame really doesn’t matter.
Tarryn’s version of Silent Night is now available, just in time for Christmas!
