The Voice’s Brittany Cairns dropped by the studios of Hope 103.2 with guitarist and brother Nate to sing a couple of songs for listeners of Nights with Laura Bennett.
Her success on Channel 9’s The Voice was a massive departure from singing at a restaurant on Friday nights and at church on a weekend. She describes her experience on The Voice as “amazing and over-the-top”.
Singing in her bedroom from the age of six, it wasn’t until auditions for her school band in Year 10 that Brittany sang in public for the first time.
Brittany performed Bon Iver’s ‘Skinny Love’ along with Hillsong United’s ‘Like An Avalanche’ when she dropped by Hope 103.2.
