If you’re heading out to enjoy the City2Surf this weekend, keep an eye out for Nuns on the Run.

No, they won’t be wearing habits, but they will be raising funds for the Sisters of Charity.  Sister Leone Wittmack from the Sisters of Charity will be leading the charge on behalf of the nuns.

But don’t be fooled by her sisterly demeanour.  At 63, she’s recently competed in 4 half-marathons, 10 previous City2Surfs and has even walked from Dubbo to Darlinghurst.
