As women increasingly explore the freedoms that modern society has accumulatively allowed them, there’s been a question beginning to surface – can women really have it all?

They’ve been told it’s possible, and the same has been said to men, but although we now enjoy a life where women can pick and choose to combine their career with family, hobbies with business, is this ‘dream’ of choice and a balanced lifestyle really achievable? – and more to the point, is it really worth it?

Leigh Hatcher spoke with author Jessica Rudd on Open House to talk about her new book ‘Ruby Blues’, which explores the qestion of whether women can indeed have it all.
