You don’t need to have kids to know that this is the catchcry of the world’s most famous fictional tradesman – Bob the Builder.
When Keith Chapman first sketched the character in the hardhat all those years ago, it was no accident. He actually set out to create a children’s character that would become world famous and acheived it with his first attempt.
Since then, the TV executive has founded his own production company and launched programs like Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car.
So what does it take to make a TV show that kids will love? And where does he get his ideas from?
