Genevieve Clay never planned on being a film maker. She had her heart set on acting, and signed up for a media production course at University, only to get her foot in the door of the acting world.
But in the course of her studies, she discovered just how much fun it was to write a script, get behind the camera, and make her own stories come to life.
It seems Genevieve has found her true calling, because this year she took out the top gong in Tropfest, the world’s largest short-film festival. Not only that, her latest film has also been chosen as a finalist in the prestigious Bondi Short Film Festival coming up this Saturday night.
