Aussie children’s author Matt Stanton has just released a new book in his Funny Kid series, Prank Aliens, and he caught up with Hope 103.2 to share all about it including how his Christianity impacts the way he writes in general.

Matt talks about his passion for kids’ storytelling – especially for primary aged students.

“At that age, you’re really deciding how you feel about reading – you’re working out your relationship with reading – and if you can really catch a kid and give them the reading bug at that age, it really can, I believe, change their life,” Matt said.

He also had advice for young ones dreaming of making a career out of writing books “when they grow up”.
