As a woman, a mother and a Christian, the title of this book captured my attention straight away – A Crown That Lasts: You Are Not Your Label.

I mean, we all either label ourselves or wear the labels given to us by others, right?
To be honest, I had never heard of Demi Leigh Tebow so I opened this book not having a clue what I was getting into. I was not expecting a combination of testimony, self-help, motivational reading and Christian living!
Demi’s A Crown That Lasts is a raw, honest and compelling account of a young woman’s life as she navigates the highs and lows of living in the spotlight, battling seasons of fear, grief and heartache, but also experiencing the restoring and healing power of Jesus Christ.

The book contains sections for the reader to dig deep into their own story. Demi provides guidance and prompt questions that encourage us to sit with our pain, reflect on God’s sovereignty and power, while helping to lead us through to the other side, to a place of growth and flourishing!
Demi’s experiences in different parts of the world, fighting for and training women to be their strongest and most empowered selves, will no-doubt leave you inspired and ready to fight for your God-given identity!

You can read this book in two ways; either to simply hear and be motivated by Demi’s story or, you can choose to commit more time to it and really press into the “In Your Own Life” sections where you will be challenged and strengthened from within.
