From Lego kits to never-ending sequels or TV spin-offs, the absurdly popular space saga is a pop culture force.

May 4 has become an annual Star Wars celebration day – “May the Force [Fourth] be with you.”

Hope Mornings spoke with Brisbane minister and fanboy James Snare about the spirit of Star Wars.

Given “May the Force be with you” is an undeniable rip-off of a traditional Christian greeting – “May the Lord be with you” – does that mean Star Wars has Christian links?
