Dr Sam Chan’s previous book, Evangelism in a Skeptical World, won Christianity Today’s book award for 2019, which doesn’t come as a great surprise with all of his life experience. Born in Hong Kong, raised in Australia and having studied in the United States, he is a cultural analyst, has a PhD in theology, is a public speaker for City Bible Forum, and is a medical doctor.
Now, Sam has another new book out about evangelism, How to Talk About Jesus (Without Being That Guy), and I wanted to get his insights. Sam has a diverse background and brings some really pragmatic approaches to some deep thinking. This isn’t really an interview, it’s more two Pastors sharing their very different approaches to sharing Jesus.
Hopefully you’ll takeaway some helpful insights into sharing Jesus with confidence and boldness. I find Sam particularly helpful when it comes to looking for the next question, or the question behind the question, when it comes to faith in Jesus.
