Operation Christmas Child is a much-loved tradition for many households around Australia and a hands-on way for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts.
Samaritan’s Purse collects and distributes the shoeboxes in the name of Jesus Christ to children living in vulnerable situations, and Hope Breakfast with Ally & Brendan had the opportunity to catch up with Phil Kinney from the Sydney branch of the organisation about how people can be involved, what items are best suited to the shoeboxes and how the gifts are distributed.
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
