How would you like to celebrate Christmas 2021?

Put another way: after the few years we have had with the pandemic, how are you feeling about celebrating Christmas?

As we head into Christmas 2021, are you feeling like going big for Jesus’ birthday? Or does Christmas sound more like a chore atop COVID stress, tiredness and disruption?

Simon Hansford knows so many are not feeling as pumped about Christmas as usual.

He is Moderator of the NSW/ACT Synod of the Uniting Church in Australia (UCA). He and his team have put a lot of thought into what Christmas 2021 could look like for their church network.

Simon spoke with Hope Afternoons and revealed the UCA is suggesting a different approach to Christmas 2021: less is more.
