The true meaning of Christmas can only be found in the celebration of the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
But it’s fun to watch Christmas flicks and after a big 12 months. Christmas movies offer the optimism and escapism we all need at the end of the year.
So here are some options of Christmas movies that capture the spirit of the holiday, compiled by our movie guy Russ Matthews, from Reel Dialogue.

Elf (Stan)
Raised as an over-sized elf, a human travels from the North Pole to NYC to meet his biological father who doesn’t know he exists and is in desperate need of some Christmas spirit.
