We recognise that selecting the right school learning environment for your child is a very important decision. Whether your child is entering school for the first time in kindergarten, joining the primary or secondary school, or looking to complete senior school in Years 11 or 12, your choice of school will have a significant and long lasting effect on their life.

We believe that Toongabbie Christian College is a very special place. It was established in 1981 as a ministry of Toongabbie Baptist Church to be a caring Christian community that supports families by providing a quality education which develops the whole person in a Christ-centred, caring environment. Toongabbie Christian College has grown into a spacious, well-resourced campus with over 960 children and a staff of over 100.

We believe that the education of children must be done in partnership with parents. Further, we strongly believe that the best education occurs when the Christian values that are taught and upheld in the home are the same values supported by the School. We can achieve this by ensuring all our Staff are committed Christians who are active in service in their local churches. We seek to create an environment where our students can grow in Christ. We do this by having a strong emphasis on developing individual gifts, whether academically, in creative and performing arts or in sports. We teach every subject from a perspective that honours God, emphasizes that the Bible is God’s Word and that Jesus Christ, God’s Son is the central figure in God’s plan of salvation for mankind. Parallel to this is a pastoral care network that supports the student as they grow, and gives opportunity to develop students’ spiritual gifts in the service of God and others.

This is all done within a community of care, working in partnership with parents.
