Boys’ Brigade Australia
The Boys’ Brigade (BB) has been shaping young lives in Australia for over 125 years, offering fun, adventure, and mentorship to build resilience and leadership skills. Meeting weekly during school terms, local groups – usually based in churches – provide unique experiences tailored by their leaders and communities.

Members wear uniforms to promote a sense of belonging, while BB’s wider network enables shared events and adventures. With a structured program spanning physical, educational, social, and spiritual development, members progress through age-based groups -Anchors (K-2), Juniors (3-6), and Seniors (7-12) – engaging in increasingly adventurous and rewarding activities. BB empowers young people to reach their potential and positively impact the world around them.

The Boys’ Brigade (BB) program develops kids in four key areas:

  • Physical – Building sporting and adventure skills through activities like games, canoeing, abseiling, and hiking.
  • Educational – Teaching practical life skills and leadership through development courses.
  • Social – Enhancing social skills and community awareness by fostering friendships and group interactions.
  • Spiritual – Encouraging understanding and application of Christian teachings, helping kids explore and strengthen their faith.
