Our Story

Rev. Vernon Turner started the Christian Broadcasting Association Limited (CBA) in 1953. CBA, which would become Hope Media, produced Christian content from studios located in Five Dock, Sydney. These programs were distributed free to commercial stations.

After a 25-year wait CBA was granted an FM licence and 2CBA FM started broadcasting in March 1979.

In May 2002 the station, now renamed to FM103.2 – The Heart of Sydney, officially opened its new studios. These were housed in a purpose-built radio facility in Seven Hills, Western Sydney.

FM103.2 became Hope 103.2 in December 2008.
